Family Camp 2011

Jesus Reigns Ministries, UK – Peterborough Chapter recently organised Family Camp 2011 last 25-29 July, which was attended mainly by families from the Filipino community in Peterborough. The annual summer camp was held this year at Woodland Holiday Park in Trimingham, Norfolk. The camp’s theme was ‘Building a Godly family.’

Ericsson Money sponsors Barrio Fiesta sa London

 Ericsson Money is one of the lead sponsors at Barrio Fiesta sa London on 16 and 17 July in Lampton Park, Hounslow, where they will be providing demonstrations and giving a sneak preview of the mobile money services.

Ericsson Money will have a stand at the Barrio Fiesta including a videobooth for festival-goers to send video postcards to friends and family all over the world, via Facebook or email.

Peterborough Evening Telegraph

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph, or ET as it is known locally, is the local newspaper for the city of Peterborough. It is based at New Priestgate House in the city centre.

The Evening Telegraph is published in full colour at lunchtime Monday to Friday and on Saturday morning with local news, sport, business and information plus supplements; jobs (Thursday), property (Wednesday), motors and entertainment (both Friday) and a lifestyle magazine ET Life on Saturday.

Election of Management Committee for 2011-13

Last January 23, Filcop members elected a new Management Committee who will be in office for the next two years.

On that day, which was also the first annual general meeting of the organisation, members voted to amend the constitution with regards to management. They agreed to hold biennial (every two years) elections for the management committee with each member being able to hold three consecutive terms for one office.
